Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.Work setting-Various locations-In office customer serviceResponsibilitiesTasksTroubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctionsDiagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair requiredAdjust equipment and repair or replace defective partsTest repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specificationsAttach components and adjust new farm equipmentClean, lubricate and perform other maintenance workPerform repair work on heavy trucksPerform other routine maintenanceJob DutiesInspects combines, forage harvesters, tractors, balers and other agricultural and heavy equipment for proper performance; identifies faults and malfunctions to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operationDiagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic tools and testing equipment to determine the extent of repair requiredAdjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components,
