One of our large clients is looking for an Engineering Specialist, details are as below: Work Style: Hybrid â 3 days per week in office: Part time or Full-time: full-time Potential convert to permanent : Contractor to work extra time or on-call: Role Title: Engineering Specialist, Intermediate (5-7 years) 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems integration, platform support, or a related technical role ~ Experience with databases, SQL scripting, and infrastructure troubleshooting Exposure to vulnerability management, certificates, and security or risk remediation Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred) You will work closely with internal partners and external vendors to integrate solutions, reduce risk, remediate vulnerabilities, and modernize environments by moving from manual to automated processes. Integrate, support,



and maintain infrastructure platforms and middleware across multiple environments Automate infrastructure and environment processes, enabling a shift from manual to automated workflows Support application servers, databases, certificates, and securityârelated configurations Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure and platform vulnerabilities in alignment with enterprise risk and security standards Perform light scripting and configuration tasks (e.g., SQL scripting, basic Java analysis) to support integrations and troubleshooting Monitor systems proactively to identify risks, performance issues, or potential outages Participate in an onâcall rotation, supporting production environments approximately one week every 4â5 weeks Collaborate within an agile, squadâbased team environment and contribute to documentation and standard operating procedures.
