Enhance children's learning experiences with Waterloo Region District School Board in Before and After School programs. Collaborate with a Designated Early Childhood Educator to support students from junior kindergarten to grade 6. This position involves actively supporting play-based programming while ensuring a safe and engaging environment for students. You will promote positive interactions, encourage self-regulation, and facilitate both indoor and outdoor activities. Engagement with parents about their children's development is vital. Key Responsibilities:
- Follow guidance of the Designated Early Childhood Educator
- Foster positive interactions among children and caregivers
- Encourage self-regulation and communication skills in children




- Support play-based learning and child-initiated experiences
- Supervise indoor/outdoor play while assuring safety Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in supervising children safely
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C training
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
