Our key strength is providing our worldwide automotive customers a single-source alternative for all of their interior automotive plastic part needs.We are seeking aPaint Cell Leaderfor the afternoon shift. The successful applicant will assist the Shift Supervisor with the smooth operation of the paint lines, including starting and running the lines, training and documenting training, continuous improvement efforts, and fostering communication between all team members of the cell as well as various other duties. The backup Paint Cell Leader must ensure the safety of all paint products and cell members and promote pride of workmanship and a positive team approach through leadership by example.Paint Cell Leaders may be required to perform Paint Operator duties upon request.Key duties include:Ensure paint preventative maintenance schedule is maintainedEnsure paint kitchen is clean and organized at all timesEnsure the paint area and paints are pre‑mixed for the incoming shiftMonitor paint inventory levels and paint waste levels and advise supervisor of low quantities or when paint waste needs to be removedEnsure all paint equipment is in good working conditionComplete all paint trials and set spray patterns for new programsEnsure that all standard work instructions are being followedPerform first‑off, in‑process, and final inspection of production parts according to the inspection requirementsMaintain first aid training certificationWe encourage applications from employees with perceived leadership ability, above‑average attendance, a positive work record, the ability to work overtime when necessary, and solid work habits.
