Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders swiftly and correctly
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming environment for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service and smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards in the food industry
- Experience with cashiering systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a rapid-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
