You'll visit schools, libraries, camps, homes and more to deliver AMAZING science presentations that will WOW your audiences.Our After-School Programs are scheduled after the school day ends for one-hour sessions in schools & in community centers.This is a part-time job, but we prefer someone with a flexible schedule who can take on many opportunities when given plenty of notice.Pay is based on per session,



not per hour. For example: For a one-hour class you are expected to be onsite 15 min before the start of the program and 15 min after the program for clean-up. $44 is the rate for the entirety of the session. There is some compensation for travel in addition to your class rate.Requirements:An OUTGOING and DYNAMIC personalityEnjoys performing in front of an audienceExperience with groups of children ages 4-12Some experience in theater a plus.Valid License & Access to a Vehicle (A MUST!)A cell phoneExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 20 lbs.Lots of ENERGYAll employees are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening at time of hiringSuccessful candidates are also:Responsible - able to conduct programs safely and efficientlyReliable - always on time, always preparedAdaptable - able to adjust to every environment and group typeProfessional - comfortable dealing with everyone from parents to principalsFlexible - able to function in a business where schedules and workloads are at the mercy of the customerFUN!!!
