Mine TechnicianDiscovery Kidd has an exciting opportunity for a Mine Technician.Discovery Kidd is a growing North America Precious Metals Company committed to high‑quality gold producing assets in Canada and the world’s largest undeveloped silver deposit in Mexico.PositionReporting to a Mine Technical Services Supervisor, the Mine Technician is accountable for providing technical support in a surface and underground environment to ensure safe and cost‑effective production.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out measurements, calculations, designs, and inspections underground with an emphasis on in‑field troubleshooting, problem solving, and incorporating technology into daily tasks.Prepare protected and accurate mine designs, various mining prints, and mine plans and schedules.Actively participate in weekly and monthly safety meetings, as well as all safety programs and initiatives.Skills and QualificationsA Technician or Technologist diploma in mining, civil, instrumentation or related trade.Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Excel, CAD, and databasing.Strong communication, interpersonal,
