Director, Business Development The Mastercard Canada Fintech & Ecosystem Enablement team sits at the forefront of innovation, partnering with energetic and high-growth companies shaping the future of financial services in Canada. Own and grow a portfolio of fintech partners, driving both recent business development and ongoing account expansion across issuing, value-added services, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities Build and deepen senior-level relationships, positioning Mastercard as a trusted strategic partner and expanding engagement across the ecosystem. Develop and execute account strategies and pipelines, translating partner needs into actionable growth plans and revenue opportunities. Lead end-to-end deal execution, including business case development, commercial structuring, negotiations, and contract management. Collaborate cross-functionally with local and global teams to deliver integrated client solutions. Develop the fintech ecosystem, building relationships across platforms, processors, incubators, and accelerators. Qualifications Robust business development and account management experience,



with a demonstrated consultative sales approach and a track record of originating and growing complex partnerships. Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives. Experience in fintech, payments, or technology is an asset. MBA or equivalent experience is an asset.
