Business Systems Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Contract: 12 months

Pay: $50-$60/hourly

About the Role

Our banking client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support digital web initiatives within the asset management sector. This role focuses on requirements gathering, application integrations, process optimization, and enhancing digital experiences for advisors and investors.

Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

- Develop functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Support application and API integrations across digital platforms.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

- Conduct process mapping, impact analysis, testing, and UAT.

- Support documentation and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Qualifications





- 5–7 years of Business Systems Analyst experience.

- Strong understanding of asset management and advisor/investor workflows.

- Experience with application integrations, APIs, and digital platforms.

- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and stakeholder workshops.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Contentful, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and MS Office.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

- CBAP, CCBA, PMP, Scrum, or related certifications.
