Contribute to scientific progress with ALS as a Warehouse Technician, directly supporting warehouse operations in a dynamic lab environment. Your role involves essential tasks like sample management, local deliveries, and safety compliance.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager or Lab Manager at ALS Geochemistry. You will handle tasks such as sorting and retrieving sample pulps, scanning and consolidating samples, and assisting in shipping and receiving processes. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining analytical quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and retrieve sample pulps from warehouse facilities
• Scan and consolidate samples for storage and disposal
• Conduct local deliveries as required
• Assist with shipping and receiving samples
• Comply with ALS safety procedures during tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma preferred
• Forklift license a plus
• Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer and English communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
