BW Projects/Edelweiss Cabinetry is hiring a cabinet installer/installer's helper. This energetic position involves assisting our experienced installers in installing custom cabinetry and millwork in largely a new residential construction setting, with some commercial and renovation projects. Work as part of a 2-3 person team out of a well-equipped high roof van with industry-best tools and practices.
Whether you're gaining hands-on experience or bringing previous finish carpentry knowledge, this role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding workplace.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of cabinetry and millwork across the Okanagan
Requirements
- Prior construction experience or a strong interest in carpentry and woodworking
- Ability to read floorplans and elevations with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during installation tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required; reliable transportation is advantageous. Carpool from West Harbour area of West Kelowna may be possible.
Pay: $24.00-$46.00 per hour
