The role involves seismically analyzing established pipe support designs steel framing members, bolted and welded connections, and attachments to steel-plated superstructure using GT STRUDL. This is a technical analysis role supporting an existing nuclear project’s commodity support design program,



working from client-supplied drawings, loads, and seismic input data.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform seismic analysis of established nuclear pipe support designs, steel framing members, bolted or welded connections, and attachments to steel-plated superstructure — in accordance with ASME BPVC Section III, Subsection NF.Conduct structural analysis and support qualification using GT STRUDL.Apply Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) structural steel section properties in analysis and design verification.Evaluate standard vendor-supplied support components, determine component capacities, and document demand/capacity comparisons.Interpret pipe support configuration drawings and apply client-provided pipe reaction loads and project-specific live loads to the analysis.Incorporate piping and superstructure design temperatures, and
