The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for the Airbus A320, A330 and A350 models and the Boeing 787. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing and special processes, including heat treatment, shot blasting and surface treatments.You will use pneumatic hand tools or semi-automatic equipment to grind the attachment points of main landing gear components according to specifications. This operation requires a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions of the bushings that will later be installed to accommodate other mechanical parts.Your responsibilities will also include:inspecting parts using measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specificationsmachining using a lathe and installing bushingsapplying sealantcompleting the appropriate quality assurance documentationcontributing to continuous improvement of operations and to achieving safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery objectivesMore?
