Maintain competence, professionalism, and nursing records. Perform as a member of the surgical team, including perioperative roles, and perform related duties as assigned.QualificationsRegistered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited community college.Successful completion of the Operating Room course from an approved program within three years with combined experience.Registered Practical Nurse with current Ontario Certificate of Competence.Demonstrated commitment to maintain Reflective Practice Standards as outlined by the CNO.Current B.C.L.S. Heart and Stroke Foundation Standards.Minimum of two years’ experience within the perioperative scrub role across various operating room services.Recent operating room experience required.Aseptic Technique course required.Proven to have good technical operating room skills that adhere to AORN/ORNAC standards for a scrub nurse role.Proven organizational, interpersonal,
