You will take on more responsibility as your skills grow, log real hours toward your Certificate of Qualification, and get the support you need to finish your trade with us.What you'll doInstall, connect and test water supply, drainage, waste and vent (DWV) systems in new homes and renovationsRough-in and finish plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, tubs, showers and laundryInstall and service water heaters, sump pumps, backflow devices and water treatment equipmentRead and interpret drawings, specifications and the Ontario Building Code (Part 7)Cut, thread, solder and join copper, PEX, ABS, PVC.Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages and fixture problems on service callsKeep the work area clean and safe, and follow DPG's health and safety program and the OHSAComplete daily timesheets and job documentation, and keep your apprenticeship logbook currentWork respectfully with homeowners, site supervisors and other tradesWhat you bringRequiredRegistered Plumber (306A)
