About the RoleWe’re looking for an Underwriter, Commercial Lines, to join our growing team!ResponsibilitiesSupport the underwriting of a portfolio of commercial business within established program guidelines and authority limitsEvaluate and price risks with guidance, applying consistent underwriting practices to support profitable growthQuote and bind current business, renewals, and endorsements with a focus on scalability and operational efficiencySupport client management activities by responding to inquiries, addressing basic issues, and ensuring a high level of serviceBuild and maintain positive relationships with insurers, clients, and internal stakeholdersCollaborate with internal teams to support program performance and operational efficiencyEnsure compliance with underwriting guidelines, program rules, and regulatory requirementsContribute to process improvements and program enhancements where appropriateUtilize internal systems for policy inquiries, electronic filing, underwriting, and rating transactionsParticipate in training and development to build underwriting knowledge and expertiseContribute as a strong team player, supporting team initiatives and fostering a collaborative environmentOpportunity to participate in occasional travelQualifications1–3 years of commercial brokering, underwriting, or insurance experienceRIBO license requiredStrong interest in developing a career in commercial underwritingGood relationship‑building skills with clients,
