This position blends technical expertise with a unique hands‑on environment and is an opportunity to apply your full range of skills in a setting where no two days are the same.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrades, and current installations of all electrical and control systems on the mountain (lifts, infrastructure, buildings, and facilities)Remain in compliance with current Canadian Electrical CodeUtilize blueprints,



wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projectsPrevent breakdown of systems by adhering to a comprehensive maintenance scheduleTraining for and responding to emergency situationsCommunicating and logging tasks performed to keep organized records of jobs completed, including the use of CMMS softwareWorking with the electrical team to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime of the overall function of the resortWorking on a large variety of equipment and voltages, ranging from 12V to 12.5kVWorking closely with other departments including contractorsPerform all other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Maintenance & Facilities and does not require any direct supervisory responsibilities.Required Qualifications and AbilitiesMinimum of 3 years related experience requiredCompletion of Journeyman certificate in electrical (or enrolled in apprenticeship program)Experience with high voltage an assetExperience with PLC and electronics an assetKnowledge of current Canadian Electrical CodeAvailable to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions, including weekends and PM shiftsMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs safely, including tower climbing (training provided)Working ConditionsHours of operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time,
