We are looking for awesome, self-driven Personal Support Workers to work throughout the Haliburton, Kawartha, and/or Peterborough Region. Flexibility for day, evening, and overnight shifts preferred. Weekend availability is also preferred.

Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans. Provide companionship and light housekeeping (whatever it takes to help a person stay at home). Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker Assists clients in all activities of daily living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth.

Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises. Ability to travel between assignments within designated areas of work, an asset if you can travel to rural/remote areas.



Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English ~ PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution or International nursing/ doctorate Certification Negative TB Test completed within the last year Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to Ontario’s Human Rights Code Immunization for measles, rubella, varicella, tetanus, and Diphtheria REQUIRED, immunization of Hepatitis B is strongly urged.

Valid Criminal Record

Check - must be completed within the last year. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
