The Community Support

Worker is Grid Level 10, Compensation starts at $27.53/hour and requires union membership. This position is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm (24 hours) Candidates who are looking to contribute to the growth and development of others, have a passion for helping others, and have experience working with at-risk children, youth, or adults.



Candidates who are looking to grow their career in the social services field.

Additional qualities we look for are: Ability to work as a team and contribute to the plans of care. Excellent communicator who is understanding, patient, and non-judgmental while providing exceptional care to our youth. Computer literacy - ability to use multiple technology platforms.

Experience working with at-risk people who have a mental health diagnosis. Understanding of Trauma Informed Care, and experience providing trauma informed counselling (through behavior management, attachment based, relational, or other appropriate modalities).

Education in a related field (education, psychology, child and youth care, counselling, health care). Diploma in a related human/social service field and One year recent related experience.
