Accounting | Payroll | Accounts Payable & Receivable We are seeking an Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join our team and support the financial operations of our organization across multiple entities. This is a hands-on accounting role that contributes to the day-to-day financial administration and reporting that supports our business operations. As Intermediate

Accountant , you will manage a broad range of accounting and payroll activities, including multi-entity payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Payroll Administration: Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for three entities using QuickBooks, including weekly timesheets, employee setup and changes, compensation, deductions, benefits, payroll records, reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting.

Accounts Receivable: Manage the monthly invoicing process, monitor outstanding receivables, perform routine collections, resolve billing discrepancies, maintain accurate customer records, and prepare AR reports.

Accounts Payable: General Accounting: Perform weekly bank reconciliations and monthly credit card reconciliations, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, review general ledger activity, and identify and resolve missing, duplicate, or incorrectly recorded transactions. Month-End Close: Support the monthly accounting close process through preparation of reconciliations, supporting schedules, documentation, recurring journal entries, and other close activities while meeting established deadlines. Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports, analyses, and account information, and provide accurate financial data and insights to support management reporting and decision-making.

Typically, 3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or a related field.



Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end accounting.

Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Payroll an asset.

Experience with Deltek VantagePoint or similar financial software, an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and payroll information. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Working toward a CPA designation is considered an asset.

Payroll Compliance
