General FunctionThe Licensed Team Lead creates exceptional value in the lives of customers and patients by delivering exceptional customer service. Ensures customers and patients are always delighted. Assists in the achievement of store success by managing key optical and lab processes (if applicable) and systems to exceptional results.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive and solution-driven customer service, ensuring accurate execution and product knowledge.Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates.Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.Under current and valid state Opticianry license: provide expertise and product knowledge on lens choices based on patients’ vision needs and prescriptions; adjust and/or repair eyewear as needed; present and dispense eyewear; perform accurate digital measurements.When working in the lab (if applicable): custom fit glasses, precisely place prescription in lenses, ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards, create a safe working environment, and maintain lab tools and equipment.Basic QualificationsHS diploma or GED.Current and valid state Opticianry license.Strong optical and retail experience.Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.Strong communicator, listener, and interpersonal skills.Strong basic math skills.Sales skills.Problem solving ability.Familiarity with cash register, computers,



and calculators.Leadership and training experience.Edging and mounting experience.Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.Preferred QualificationsState licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.Lens Crafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification.Lens Crafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program certification.Optical machinery/instruments experience.Customer service experience.AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification.Knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options.Pay Range and BenefitsPay Range: $25.10–$34.98 per hour.
