Role Description This is a part-time, remote Content Writer role.

The Content

Writer will create transparent, engaging, and accurate content for web pages, blogs, product descriptions, and marketing materials that align with Matacs’ brand and technology focus. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching industry topics, drafting and revising copy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support campaigns, and optimizing content for readability and audience engagement. The role also involves proofreading materials for grammar, style, and consistency, maintaining content calendars,



and following guidelines and deadlines in a distributed work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills to produce clear and engaging materials for digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Research skills to plan, organize, and develop content that supports business objectives.
- Candidates should possess Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.
- Candidates should possess excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone and style for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Candidates should possess strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
- Experience with technology-focused content, SEO best practices, and collaboration tools (e.g., CMS, project management platforms) is beneficial.
- A degree or coursework in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
