Licensed Millwright or Final Year ApprenticeLocation: Richmond Hill, ONReports to: Maintenance ManagerIndustry: Heavy Industrial ManufacturingHours: Monday to Friday 6 am - 2:30 pmHere's what's in it for you:$46-49/hourProfit sharingOvertime availableEmployer-paid benefits4% RRSP matchingAdditional perks:All PPE and tools providedIncredibly reliable company with substantial investment in maintenance technology / equipment equating to exciting projects that this person will be involved with.Opportunities for career advancement and an incredible Manager who is a strong mentor and eager to grow his team in their technical and leadership skills.Here's what you will do:Work daily with CMMS software to create, modify, and close work ordersRead blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInstall, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power toolsOperate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machineryInspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical logic controlsAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective partsOperate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineryClean,



lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machineryAssemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipmentMay perform other tasks as deemed appropriateHere's what we're looking for and what you will need to succeed:5+ years of hands-on Maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment433A Licensed Millwright or 4th Year Apprentice. Red Seal Millwright is an advantage.Forklift license or experience with willingness to become certifiedOverhead Crane Operator license or experience with willingness to become certifiedExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery including basic skills with PLC troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret blueprints/drawingsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and evolving environmentStrong oral and written communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, moving materials, going up ladders, crouching, etc.)Ability and willingness to learn, curiosity, positive attitude and commitment to getting the job done right in a timely mannerReliable and committed with good attendance recordComputer proficient: MS Office, CMMSHigh regard for health and safety and commitment to always following company and safety policies and proceduresExcellent attention to detail, highly organized, and strong multi-tasking abilitiesExperience using a variety of hand and power tools.
