Brockville Pharmasave is hiring aStaff Pharmacistto support the community’s healthcare needs in Brockville, Ontario.ResponsibilitiesAccurately review and dispense prescription medications in compliance with provincial and federal regulations.Provide qualified advice on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.Counsel patients on medication therapy, potential side effects, and drug interactions.Administer injections and immunizations as authorized under Ontario regulations.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.Maintain proper records, documentation, and patient profiles.Ensure compliance with all standards set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists and other regulatory bodies.Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring workflow efficiency and accuracy, including MedsChecks.Promote health and wellness services, including medication reviews and chronic disease management programs.At present we do not offer compounding or administer methadone in our store.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm)
