Production Supervisor - Price Electronics (Weekend)Reporting To: Plant ManagerWork Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PMPurpose of the Role:Active part of the leadership team - work with team members to improve the overall manufacturing operations by promoting productivity, quality and safety on the manufacturing floor.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Overseeing the performance of process and employees in production cellManaging production and ensuring all needed materials are on hand by working closely with Planning & Leadership TeamTroubleshooting production issues with Group Leaders and production teamWorking with production team to develop an in-depth knowledge of the production line, utilizing documentation to capture critical to-process informationImplement & champion Lean initiativesEnsure effectiveness and efficiency in all aspects of performance for the cell, and provides leadership and direction to the teamSupervisory Duties:Conduct daily meeting to control production progress, daily check on machine/tools status & WIP inventory/ KanbanImplement Yield, Quality Control and Standards to maximize productivity & minimize production costReview production report, identify need of improvement areas, initiate corrective actions through IRSEnsure timely delivery of product to customer, specification requirements are meet for each particular product & processMaintain high moral among production staff through regular communication and guidanceEnsures safety of team members at the floor and sees to it that the company policies are strictly followedConstant communication of any quality issue related to RMA, FQR, NCR to assembler & testerAdministration Duties:Update employee time and attendance in IDT,



also includes updates of holiday & overtime in the Holiday Schedule spreadsheetRequest part number on new parts and products including the setting of stock quantity requirementAttend meeting to discuss weekly planning & report order status and production highlightsAssists students on the Job training throughout the required hours in the productionCoordinate status update for new product build to the production teamTechnical Duties & Responsibilities:Review orders through ERP System.Check, review and approve any engineering changeConduct tact time & report man hours spent on new product buildAssist & support generating shop aids for new product buildReview line status & request needed support from IT, Production Support, QA, Design, MaintenanceImplement line balancing & one piece flow whenever applicableCoordinate any updates on test procedures, fixture requirements with test teamQualifications and SkillsPost-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing workplace.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.Strong production planning and prioritization abilities.Demonstrated ability to analyze production KPIs and drive performance improvement.Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with operators, engineers and management.Strong people leadership and employee development skills, including ability to motivate, coach, and provide direction to production teams.Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
