This will be investigation of a mix of Accident Benefits, Property & Auto related claims.Provide tactical support to SIU Field InvestigationsDevelop investigation strategies to eliminate or verify whether fraud indicators detected are supported through investigation.Investigations will include developing investigation strategies, taking recorded statements, interviewing witnesses, ordering and analyzing expert and other reports, conducting internet research on topics related to investigations, contacting police or other government agencies, conducting Examination Under Oaths and fulfilling other investigation requirementsInvestigators will provide frequent training for the external LOB partners.



They will work with our CTA to provide the material for training our business partnersActive involvement in Stakeholder calls with Line of Business Adjusters, Participation in Investigative Review Committees to present findings to other internal stakeholdersWhat you bringA university degree from an accredited university or a diploma from an accredited community college. Completion of, working towards or a willingness to obtain their CIP designationA minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience handling and settling Accident Benefit claims, Property Claims and/or Auto Claims is required.Any candidate that has multi-line adjusting experience in 2 of the 3 listed business lines is preferred.A working knowledge of business or fraud analytics software or fraud detection programs is an asset.A working knowledge of Organized Crime Fraud and/or Ring InvestigationsThe ability to work with a suite of Microsoft products and resourceful use of the Internet.Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.Interested in this role,
