Seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to join our utility crew in the County of Renfrew. Work Monday to Friday, focusing on fiber optic splicing and testing.In this full time position, you will assist the Civil Construction Supervisor and ensure the successful execution of daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including splicing different types of fiber optic cables, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining site safety standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients will enhance our service quality.Key Responsibilities:Perform splicing and testing for fiber optic cablesTroubleshoot network system issues for clientsRead and interpret splicing documentationOperate necessary splicing/testing equipmentDocument completed work accuratelyRequirements:CFOT or CFOS/S certification is a plusMinimum of 3 years of related experienceA valid Driver's Licence is requiredPhysical capability to maneuver materialsAdaptable to various working conditionsUse your expertise in fiber optics to strengthen our utility services.
