G&G; Poultry Ltd. is seeking a reliable, hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding, hands‑on role involving collecting hatching eggs, assisting with daily poultry farm operations, and maintaining clean barns and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate egg packing equipment to collect, pack, and store hatching eggs.
- Conduct regular barn walk‑throughs.
- Help prepare barns for new flocks.
- Assist with equipment assembly and installation as part of our farm building project.
- Pressure wash barns and equipment.
- Clean anterooms and office spaces weekly.
- Perform yard maintenance, including pruning, lawn mowing, and general upkeep.
- Complete other farm duties as assigned.
Hours of Work
Full-time, six days per week, approximately six to eight hours per day (36–48 hours per week). Weekend work is required.
Qualifications
- Farm or poultry experience is an asset,
but training is available.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting, walking, and bending.
- Comfortable working inside poultry barns and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and biosecurity.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Proficiency in English.
Compensation
Compensation will be negotiated based on experience.
