Reporting to the Audit and Assurance leadership team, the Manager, Assuranceworks closely with professional staff to identify client needs and contribute to the development of new service opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Assurance
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the completion of audit, review, and compilation engagements.
Support and mentor professionals in the execution of their mandates and deliverables.
Participate in maintaining and monitoring professional quality standards.
Foster effective communication with clients and team members.
Provide constructive feedback and support professional development.
Team Leadership and Supervision
Act as a key resource person for the team.
Coach, train, and evaluate the quality of work performed on engagements.
Identify and implement creative and effective solutions to challenges encountered.
Review working papers and communicate review notes clearly to team members.
Qualifications
5 to 7 years of experience in assurance within a public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, assurance standards, and taxation principles.
Excellent French and English communication, both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and specialized software, including CaseWare.
Robust problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Sound professional judgment, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
