Position OverviewAs the Accounts Payable Team Lead you will oversee the accounts payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, employee expenses, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will also lead invoice review, verification, coding, and approval/posting, while resolving discrepancies that may arise. Collaboration will be key in coordinating with business owners to align purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the accounts payable team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and support as neededApprove vendor setup and modificationEvaluate employee expenses, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and mitigate riskReview and approve payment batches to ensure proper recording, coding, and entry of invoicesCreate monthly reports for management review and operationalization of employee expense toolAssist in the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and reportingSet, monitor, and provide feedback on staff performanceIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automationEnsure all AP processes are documented and accessibleQualificationsUniversity degree in business or accounting5–6 years of Accounts Payable Experience2 years’ experience in leading professional staffStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving,
