Position SummaryThe Facilities & Property Manager is responsible for the hands‐on care, maintenance, and operational readiness of Adult & Teen Challenge's facilities in the Northern MB area. This role combines daily, on‐site maintenance work with oversight of contractors and larger projects to ensure all buildings are safe, functional, and well‐maintained.This individual will take ownership of day‐to‐day facility needs while supporting ongoing renovations, tenant spaces, and future expansion. The role requires a proactive, hands‐on approach to maintaining excellence across all ministry properties.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Facility Care (Hands‐On)Conduct daily walkthroughs of facilities to identify maintenance needsSnow and ice removal, and ensuring safe access to entrances and walkwaysGeneral upkeep of building interiors and exteriorsReplacing ceiling tiles, minor drywall repair, painting, and finishing workBasic electrical tasks (light fixtures, switches, minor troubleshooting)Light plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, clogs)Ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all spacesMaintenance & RepairsRespond quickly to maintenance issues across all facilitiesTroubleshoot problems and determine whether to resolve internally or EscalateMaintain tools, equipment, and supplies needed for ongoing workContractor & Project CoordinationCoordinate and oversee external contractors for specialized work and major renovationsSupport redevelopment projects including retail, residential, and ministry spacesEnsure quality, timelines, and cost‐effectiveness of all contracted workPortfolio‐Wide Facility OversightProvide consistent care and maintenance across all ministry facilitiesTravel between sites as required to maintain operational excellenceAdapt to additional properties as the organization growsPreventative Maintenance & SystemsDevelop and maintain preventative maintenance schedulesTrack repairs, recurring issues,
