At SAV Electric Inc we are looking for a 1st to 3rd Term 309A Electrical Apprentice - Construction and Maintenance. (A minimum of one year experience)
We are based out of the Durham region and work all through out the Durham and Greater Toronto Area. We are a growing electrical company that is very enthusiastic and looking for individuals with the same motivation and characteristics that is always willing to learn more about the electrical trade. We mainly do residential recent construction and renovations, with some work in the commercial sector. Great career opportunity to grow within the company.
Candidates Daily Task and responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and organize all job sites & work vehicles
- Follow instructions and attention to detail
- Troubleshooting, problem solving and repairing a wide variety of electrical components and in a wide variety of settings
- Assist in panel board changes, repairs and upgrades
- Learn how to read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
Successful Candidates will have the following qualifications:
- An understanding of the Ontario electrical code
- Knowledge in the residential setting
- Must have a clean driving record with a Class G License
- Up to date with all licenses
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must have own hand and power tools
- Have basic understanding of an iPad
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
