ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Product) to help shape the technical evolution of our product. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building high-quality product systems, making sound technical decisions, and supporting other engineers through collaboration and exampleThis role is hands-on and does not involve people management. You’ll work closely with engineers, Product, and Design to deliver meaningful customer value while keeping an eye on long-term maintainability and qualityDesign and build complex, customer-facing product features and systemsTake ownership of technical decisions within a product area or initiativeWork closely with Product and Design to shape practical, scalable solutionsContribute to architectural discussions and technical direction across teamsMaintain a high bar for code quality through reviews and shared standardsSupport and mentor other engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharingParticipate in production support and help resolve incidents when neededRequirementsExperience working in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, but not required)Solid background in modern web application developmentWe’re looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working with autonomy, navigating ambiguity,
and influencing outcomes through clear thinking and collaborationWe don’t expect deep expertise in every area. Strength in some areas and working knowledge in others is absolutely fineExperience with TypeScript and React, or similar contemporary frontend technologiesExperience designing and delivering complex systems or features end to endStrong experience building and maintaining production softwareBackend experience with Node.Js and/or .NET (C#)Clear communication skills and a thoughtful, collaborative approachFamiliarity with API design, data modelling, and system boundariesExperience with infrastructure as code, performance optimisation, or AI-enabled features is a plus, but not requiredCloud: Microsoft Azure and standard cloud toolingData: Relational databases (e.G.
