Lead the Phoenix Team as an Environmental Manager at Denison's Wheeler River Operation. In this rotational role, you will ensure compliance and drive environmental performance standards. Denison is seeking an Environmental Manager to oversee environmental monitoring and compliance at the Wheeler River site.
You will lead a team of technicians, interact regularly with various project disciplines, and coordinate with the Saskatoon office, ensuring all operations align with corporate and regulatory standards. This position requires strong technical oversight and risk management skills, as well as excellent leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Environmental Management Program and compliance efforts
- Oversee regulatory reporting and engage with regulators
- Implement environmental monitoring programs effectively
- Ensure timely reporting within the environmental database
- Manage incident reporting and investigations as per regulations Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years in environmental management within mining
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field
- Experience with uranium mining in Saskatchewan preferred
- Solid leadership and communication skills
