We are seeking a passionate and energetic ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to inspire learners of diverse backgrounds to achieve their language goals. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic, student-centered English lessons tailored to different proficiency levels and learning styles
- Assess students’ language abilities regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster an inclusive classroom workplace that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Incorporate multimedia resources and interactive activities to enhance learning engagement
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate accommodations and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning experience
Experience
- Prior classroom teaching experience in ESL or related fields is preferred
- Bilingual ability in English and another language (esp. Mandarin) is highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse learners
- Demonstrated strong communication skills to motivate and connect with students of varying backgrounds
- Experience working with students 16+
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies suited for different age groups and learning needs
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning environment
- Ability to teach test prep. courses such as IELTS, CELPIP, DUOLINGO, and PTE.
