Kipling, Saskatchewan is located in southeast Saskatchewan, approximately 150 km southeast of Regina. The town with a population around of 1200 people includes most amenities including a K to 12 school, hospital, care home, a 9 hole grass green golf course, swimming pool, skating and curling rink with artificial ice, ball diamonds, walking trail, disc golf, and many businesses.

The Opportunity

We are currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Executive Director. The Executive Director provides reports to the Board of Directors, and holds overall responsibility for all aspects of the organization’s operations. In collaboration with the management team and the Board, the Executive Director oversees all finances and employees.

Key Responsibilities

· Relationship building with all stakeholders, both internal (staff, people supported by the organization) and external (community, funders, government, etc.).

· Leading all aspects of the operations, including service delivery, financial management, and human resources.

· Implementing strategic goals and objectives according to Board direction.

· Providing leadership to management team and staff.





Key Qualifications or preferences include Post Secondary training in Business Administration and/or Human Services Education, or an equivalent in experience working and having responsibilities in these areas.

We are looking for a leader who is up for any challenge, a community-oriented person who is passionate about helping people of all abilities thrive in our community, someone who treats people with dignity and respect.. In addition, we would prefer successful candidates with:

· 5+ years of leadership/management experience preferably in a nonprofit organization and with experience in thehealth/social services/disability sector.

· An undergraduate degree in leadership, community development, socialservicesOR equivalent education and experience.

· Experience working with a volunteer Board of directors.

· Familiarity and desire to work with people with differing abilities.

We offer a Social Services paid monthly salary of $57 200.00 to $86 755.00, depending on experience, which includes a monthly management fee for the Sarcan operated in the community. A benefits package includes an 8% pension (matched 4% employee and employer), dental, health,



and life and critical injury insurance where the employee pays half the health premium. A Criminal Record Check must be provided prior to employment.

Working Conditions The successful candidate will be expected to work in a typical office environment. In addition,

· Some travel on behalf of the organization is required.

· May have some evening or weekend work.

· On-call for organizational emergencies.
