Job SummaryDiagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Fort McMurray, AB).7x7 rotation days and nights.Responsibilities- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies- Ongoing development/certifications on recent and existing Cummins products- Maintain own toolsQualifications- Completes complex internal engine repairs- Performs engine overhauls unassisted- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareCompensation$66.00 per hour.Housing allowance $1,000 per month.7x7 days and nights rotation.Drug & Alcohol testing required.Education, Licenses,



Certifications- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution- Locally valid driving permit- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience- Basic level field service work experience- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsCustomer service experienceCompensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
