Headquartered in Toronto, the company employs approximately 90 people and has relationships with more than 1,800 sales representatives across the country.Our client is currently seeking a skilled Graphic Web Designer to join the Marketing Group. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manger, the Graphic Web Designer will be responsible for several aspects of Heritage's graphics and web presence including:creating task specific micro sitescreating and updating corporate web pageswriting and editing contentcreating and editing graphics for use in web pagesmaintaining the corporate web site, client portal, partner portal, and Intranetsupporting the marketing team with other web-related tasksRequirementsThe ideal candidate should demonstrate sound skills in graphic design, web design and project management.



You can address the challenges of a corporate communications on a high traffic website and know how to maximize uptime for all website functions.You have an excellent command of the English language and are extremely detail-oriented. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to anticipate workflow, prioritize and follow tasks to completion. You are a self-starter, valuable listener, creative and a team player.Specific skill requirements include:advanced skills in graphic design and web development a requirementexperience with common software including, but not limited to, Dreamweaver, Contribute, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Officeability to hand code HTML and CSSfamiliarity with current web trends including CSS based layoutsfamiliarity with web site development cycleexperience with organic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practicesexperience with the Ektron CMS would be an asset but not a requirementexperience with Javascript, VBScript, ASP and other scripting languages considered an asset, but not a requirementexperience with print materials and copy writing would be a definite assetability to manage large, dynamic projectsexperience designing a broad range of marketing materials
