Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of various building projects. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring every detail meets our standards of excellence.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks
- Install and finish cabinetry, drywall, flooring, tile, siding, and roofing components with precision
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for structural elements requiring refined finishes
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques to ensure durable and visually appealing surfaces
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for assembly, sanding, cutting, and fitting of materials
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, including drywall repair, woodwork refinishing, and masonry touch-ups
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC rough-ins as needed during finishing phases
- Estimate project timelines and materials requirements to support construction planning and budgeting




- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace while adhering to safety protocols at all timesRequirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or finishing trades within the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and heavy lifting equipment
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations
- Familiarity with masonry techniques such as tile laying, concrete forming, rebar installation, and siding application
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques for smooth surfaces
- Strong understanding of roofing systems and siding materials installation methods
- Handyman experience or versatility across multiple trades is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality control
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing, lifting heavy materials safely, and working at heights when necessary

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
