About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in building and scaling an AI-driven risk intelligence platform. You will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, combining robust backend systems and data processing with intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. Working across the product, you will tackle complex technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and the integration of AI-powered capabilities into production.

This role offers significant technical ownership, direct impact on product development, and the opportunity to help shape the platform's evolution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

- Architect and scale backend services to process high volumes of real-time media data.
- Build intuitive, data-rich frontend interfaces for risk assessment and monitoring dashboards.




- Integrate machine learning models and NLP pipelines into the core product ecosystem.
- Optimize system performance and database architecture to ensure low-latency data retrieval.
- Lead technical design sessions and contribute to the long-term product vision.
- Maintain high security and compliance standards for sensitive risk management data.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development within a production environment.
- Professional proficiency in backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable SaaS applications and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code in an agile, collaborative setting.
- Robust Python skills and experience running web scraping systems in production, using tools such as Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including compute, storage, databases, networking, access management, and monitoring.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves

- Experience in RegTech, FinTech, or AI-focused startups.
- Knowledge of NLP, web crawling, or big data processing.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.

Compensation & Benefits

- Annual salary between $120,000 and $150,000 CAD (or local market equivalent).
- Versatile hybrid in Montreal or remote work options.
- Working hours compatible with Eastern Time (ET).
