Job SummaryTheSmart Buildings Coordinatorsupports the planning, execution, and delivery of smart building and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on coordinating project activities, maintaining data integrity across systems, and ensuring alignment between client datasets and internal CMMS platforms.The coordinator works closely with the Project Manager and operations teams to ensure projects are completedon time, within scope, and within budget .Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionAssist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgetsCoordinate project tasks, milestones, and deliverablesTrack progress and support timely project completionData & Asset CoordinationPerformasset data mapping from client datasets into internal CMMS systemsValidate and reconcile asset information to ensure consistency and accuracySupport integration of building systems data (BAS, HVAC, IoT platforms where applicable)Coordination & CommunicationAct as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendorsFacilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and capture meeting minutesProvide project updates and status reports to stakeholdersResource & Schedule ManagementCoordinate resources, tools,



and information required for project executionMaintain project schedules and monitor deadlinesDocumentation & ReportingMaintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and financial recordsEnsure all documentation is accurate, organized, and up to dateRisk & Issue ManagementIdentify project risks, data inconsistencies, or delaysEscalate issues and support corrective actionsAssist in monitoring budgets and cost controlRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesProblem-solving and multitasking capabilitiesWorking knowledge of HVAC equipment types and functionsHigh attention to detail, especially in data validation and mappingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Diploma in Engineering Technology, or related field0–3+ years of experience in project coordination or similar rolesKnowledge of building systems, BAS, or facility operations is an assetReporting StructureReports to:Manager, Smart Building SolutionsWork LocationMarkham, ONThis is a regular, full time position with a salary range of $45,968 - $57,461 per annum.
