As a Field Diesel Mechanic (Field Service Tech II), you will engage in safe repairs and preventative maintenance for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. Traveling to customer job sites, you’ll manage a service vehicle while documenting work accurately. Advanced mechanical aptitude is key as you also assist junior technicians, emphasizing teamwork and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on complex rental equipment
• Travel for on-site repairs and maintain service vehicle
• Train lower level technicians as necessary
• Document work orders completely and timely
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with good record
• 1-2 years equipment repair experience
• Solid mechanical knowledge of engines
• Own necessary tools for the position
