Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex and disadvantaged individuals in Ontario and are the sole provider of high‑secure forensic mental health services in the province.The Clinical Manager of the Beckwith A Program is currently seeking a temporary full-time Registered Social Worker. The Registered Social Worker will provide professional social worker services for people with dual diagnosis using social work knowledge and skills, interventions and strategies in order to assist individuals to achieve optimum psychosocial and social functioning.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESInterviewing assigned patients, relatives and others considered significant to patient’s lives as well as reviewing clinical histories and consulting with other facilities, agencies and care providers to obtain pertinent informationAssessing psychosocial strengths and challenges within a systems theory approach to formulate and implement therapeutic recovery plans of care, deliver therapeutic group treatment and create effective discharge plans recovery goals and interventions consistent with evidence based social work practices in consultation with clinical team membersImplementing short and/or long term treatment goals utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities including, but not restricted to psychotherapy, motivational interviewing,
