Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and company equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, drivetrain components, brakes, suspensions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Complete CVIP inspections and required maintenance documentation.
- Identify issues before they become costly breakdowns.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Work closely with operations to minimize downtime and keep equipment moving.

Qualifications

- Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic Certification.
- Strong experience repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Proficient with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and pride in workmanship.
- Valid driver's license.
- Class 1 license considered an asset but not required.
