Enhance your mechanical skills as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with PNR RailWorks. This role involves preventative maintenance and repair on railway construction equipment across wide-ranging conditions. Reporting to the Equipment Manager/Shop Foreman, this position requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Successful candidates will possess hands-on experience and be able to operate various tools and equipment. You will conduct inspections, troubleshoot problems, and ensure optimal performance of machinery used in railroad construction. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts during tasks
- Work with blueprints and schematic drawings effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and tools used Requirements:
- 2nd Term Mechanic Apprentice mandatory
- Prior field service experience in mechanical roles
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics
- Own tools and safety-oriented mindset required
