What you’ll doThe Investment Coordinator will play a key role in Jumpstart’s commitment to strengthening community sport across Canada and ensuring that all kids have an opportunity to realize the benefits of participating in sport and play. Reporting to the Manager, Investment and Impact, the coordinator will support the review and due diligence of Jumpstart’s granting process and participate in the following activities:Support grant management system administration and optimization.Communicate with potential applicants and develop resources to guide them on the grant criteria and process.Evaluate grant applications to ensure they meet Jumpstart’s standards and criteria.Prepare detailed grant reports with findings and recommendations for review and approval.Report on investment decisions and outcomes; document and communicate decisions to stakeholders.Create reports highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of funds.Monitor funded projects to ensure they meet agreed‑upon milestones and objectives.Assist in improving investment processes to meet community needs through feedback solicitation and implementation of changes.What you bringEducation and experience:Post‑secondary education in a related discipline.Experience working with grant management systems (experience with SmartSimple is an asset).Previous work or volunteer experience in a corporate environment or a charitable organization.Skills:Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to proactively identify process improvements and build value added analytics/reporting.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and workplace solutions including Teams and SharePoint.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Adaptability and openness to evolving priorities in a dynamic work environment.Bilingual (French and English) is an asset – speaking, reading, writing.Sport and recreation/community‑based experience is an asset.BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate of $30.00 to $32.00, depending on experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, competencies, market location, industry benchmarks and other internal equity factors. Our typical hiring range is within this bracket.
