Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for a predictable close, a solid control environment and clean audits in every market where we operate. You will partner with FP&A; and business leaders by providing reliable actuals and helping them understand what the numbers show, while helping the team grow as the business scales.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead accounting operations end to end, including accounts payable, reconciliations, intercompany and the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closePublish and maintain a close calendar the business can plan around, with clear ownership for each deliverableSet accounting policy and apply it consistently across entities and reporting standardsBuild and maintain a consistent control environment across jurisdictions, including segregation of duties,



approval thresholds and documented processesWork with local advisors and internal teams to meet tax, statutory and compliance requirements in each marketLead external and statutory audits and prepare statutory financial statements, keeping documentation audit-ready year-roundProvide financial reporting and analysis of actuals to the CFO, senior leadership and the Board, and supply FP&A; with clean actuals for planning and forecastingLead and develop an international accounting team, and drive automation and system improvements that shorten the close and reduce manual effortMUST-HAVESSenior accounting and controllership experience, including ownership of the close and the control environmentExperience managing accounting across multiple countries and currencies, including local statutory, tax and compliance differencesExperience leading external and statutory audits as the primary point of contactExperience leading managers or team leads and building distributed teamsA professional accounting designation (e.G., CPA) or equivalentStrong written and spoken English, with the ability to partner with the CFO and senior leadersNICE TO HAVESFamiliarity with Quebec financial, tax and regulatory requirements, and working proficiency in FrenchExperience as the senior accounting owner for multiple legal entities,
