Position: Data Analytics Specialist Develop Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI to support a variety of business needs. Lead analysis and development phases while enabling data-driven decision-making through actionable insights. Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze business scenarios Participate in documentation, development, testing, and user training Work with data architects, ETL developers, and stakeholders to solve complex business problems Support ETL and SSIS development when required Design data collection, transformation, and processing methods Build accurate, understandable, and unbiased data models Communicate complex data insights using clear visualizations and summaries Technical Skills Strong experience with data analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques Advanced SQL for querying and managing large datasets Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard and report development Experience with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS Strong background in data modeling (fact/dimension, star schema) Experience with Microsoft data stack (Azure Data Factory, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server) Programming/scripting experience (Python, R, or similar) Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics methods Knowledge of data governance, including Row-Level Security (RLS)



BI & Analytics Experience Experience developing dashboards and visualizations (Power BI Service and/or On-Prem) Solid skills in data cleansing, transformation, and visualization Experience working with large-scale data warehouses and datasets Understanding of emerging BI trends and tools Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences) Experience in public sector environments is considered an asset Familiarity with government IT standards and compliance practices is an advantage Provide knowledge transfer sessions and walkthroughs prior to project completion Ensure all project artifacts (design, testing, training materials) are documented and accessible About Symbiotic Digital.
