Level Consulting Engineers offers that opportunity.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Technologist to join our Calgary team.The successful candidate will be capable of taking ownership of electrical projects from concept through construction, while collaborating closely with our mechanical design team, clients, contractors, and other consultants.This position is well suited to an experienced electrical professional who enjoys both the technical and project-management aspects of consulting engineering and is interested in taking on increased responsibility and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical projects from concept through completion with minimal supervisionLead and mentor junior engineers, EITs, and technologistsSupervise the preparation of electrical construction drawings and specificationsCollaborate with the mechanical design team to develop coordinated project solutionsDevelop electrical concepts, load calculations, schematics, equipment selections, and system concept reportsDevelop single-line diagrams for low-voltage and emergency power distributionLow-voltage electrical distributionLighting and lighting control systemsLife-safety and emergency systemsTelecommunications systemsA/V systemsSecurity access and monitoring systemsEquipment connections and structured cablingDevelop ETAP models for load-flow analysis, short‑circuit studies, coordination studies, and arc‑flash analysisApply applicable utility standards, specifications, codes, and requirementsPrepare detailed electrical designs and cost‑estimate packagesProvide contract administration services during construction, including supplementary documents, drawing revisions, design support, and field inspectionsConduct site investigations and building surveys to collect design information and assess existing conditionsParticipate in project review meetings with internal teams and clientsRecord meeting minutes,
