We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused individual to join our underwriting and policy service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dealing with processes, communicating with advisors and insurance carriers, and helping move life insurance applications from submission through to policy placement.The successful candidate will play a key role supporting advisors, clients, and insurance carriers throughout the underwriting process while ensuring a high level of professionalism, organization, and responsiveness.ResponsibilitiesNew Business & Underwriting SupportManage life insurance applications from submission through policy issue and settlementOrder and track underwriting requirements, including medicals, APS reports, financial documentation, and inspectionsFollow up regularly with insurance carriers, advisors, clients,



and underwriting teams to ensure files continue progressingReview applications for completeness and accuracy prior to submissionAssist in preparing cover letters and supporting documentation for complex underwriting casesMaintain accurate notes and updates within CRM and carrier systemsYear-End reporting as neededPolicy Service & Client SupportCoordinate delivery requirements and policy placement documentationAssist with policy changes, beneficiary updates, ownership changes, and other in-force service requestsRespond to advisor and client inquiries regarding underwriting status and policy administrationWork closely with advisors to prioritize urgent cases and manage timelinesHelp maintain an organized and efficient workflow across multiple carriers and casesAdministrative & Team SupportMaintain tracking systems for pending underwriting and outstanding requirementsPrepare reports and status updates for advisorsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with insurance carrier representativesSupport ongoing improvements to underwriting and service processesSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in life insurance underwriting, new business, policy service,



or financial services administration preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication and follow-up skillsDetail-oriented with strong accuracy and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced professional environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsKnowledge of Canadian life insurance products and underwriting processes is considered a strong assetLife License Qualification Program (LLQP) preferredIdeal CandidateThe ideal person is proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of files.
